Encounter Series- A 4-year Bible/SOP Reading Plan

The Encounter Series is a AY/Pathfinder Club reading plan that works very well as a Bible Curriculum for middle and high school aged students.   The series is a four-year plan that combines reading the Bible with the corresponding Spirit of Prophecy books.  Each link below leads to a printable .pdf reading checklist for each day of the year.

Christ The Church- Acts to Revelation and  Acts of the Apostles, The Great Controversy

The waiting ones who look for the soon appearing of Christ will not be idle, but diligent in business. Their work will not be done carelessly and dishonestly, but with fidelity, promptness, and thoroughness. Those who flatter themselves that careless inattention to the things of this life is an evidence of their spirituality and of their separation from the world are under a great deception. Their veracity, faithfulness, and integrity are tested and proved in temporal things. If they are faithful in that which is least they will be faithful in much.

 It has always been important in our home  that we cover the life of Christ in our homeschool Bible studies/family worship as often as possible.  Copy of cos
Right now, for the benefit of my youngest, we are listening to an audio version of  Christ Our Savior by E.G. White.    It is the children’s version of The Desire of Ages.   If you would rather read the book aloud, the text is available also.  Both audio and text versions are free.
