Most of us do not live near other Adventist homeschooling families, so it can be lonely sometimes. One of the reasons this blog was created was to provide a place to make connections. We’d like this blog to feel like a neighborly chat over the picket fence. Please feel free to leave a comment when you have a question about something you’ve read, when you want to know more or a post inspires you. We’d love to hear from you.
I would love to hear from others how they organize their home activities to preserve time for homeschooling. Things like dividing up housework and spreading it throughout the week, etc. I am always looking for new ideas–how to be prepared for Sabbath, yet not neglect homeschooling time either.

One way we kept somewhat organized…When my kids were in the lower grades, we found real desks to use. All the school supplies/books were kept undercover. Keep your eyes open to find them in flea markets/ second hand stores/schools that may be upgrading their desks. to get good prices or next to free. They also thought it was cool to have “real school” desks.
